On March 28, 2019 a meeting was held in the RA Investigative Committee. Deputy Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee, Head of Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases Samvel Avetisyan, Chief of IC Administration Aram Nikoyan, Head of Department of Investigation of Corruption-Related Crimes, Crimes against Property and Cybercrimes Yura Ivanyan, experts involved in the criminal case, representatives of RA Ministry of Nature Protection, RA Academy of Sciences and other specialist of the sphere were present at the meeting.

Coordinator of ELARD Company’s expert group Ricardo Khoury presented the experts involved in the study who are specialists with long experience of work in ecological chemistry, geological chemistry, geological sciences, nature protection and other relevant spheres.

During the meeting Coordinator of the expert group Ricardo Khoury presented the directions, methodology, research areas of implementation of study commissioned to assess the risks of environmental impact during exploitation and post-exploitation of Amulsar Gold Mine, as well as to clarify other significant issues, as well as the submission terms of current and final reports.

Besides, discussions were also held between the investigative body, local experts involved within the criminal case, representatives of RA Ministry of Nature Protection, RA Academy of Sciences and other specialists of the sphere.
