Incident during Moscow-Yerevan flight; a criminal case initiated
In Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee measures are taken to find circumstances of the incident that took place during Moscow-Yerevan flight on January 16.
According to initial data, on January 16, 2017 during Moscow-Yerevan flight the passenger, who was under the influence of alcohol, scolded the flight attendants for about 35 minutes threatening to beat them, he did not obey the legal requirements of the flight attendants violating public order.
A criminal case was initiated in the Police according to the Part 2 of the Article 258 of RA Criminal Code which was received in Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee. It was found that the passenger is a RF citizen, Armenian and the incident took place during the flight conducted by a Russian airline.
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
