Investigation Conducted to Find out Circumstances of Causing Two Persons Firearm Injury and One Person Cut-Pierced Injury
A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee on willful infliction of heavy bodily damage to three people and illegal carrying of weapon.
On December 4, 2018 a call was received in Erebuni Division of the Police from medical center informing that two residents of Yerevan, born in 1991 and 1974, with firearm injuries were taken to them.
On the same day at 22:00 one more resident of Yerevan, born in 1983, with cut-pierced wounds was taken to another medical center.
The investigatory –operative group immediately left for the scene and conducted urgent investigatory actions; through inspection of the scene tracks like firearm injuries were found on the floor of bathroom director’s working room, blood like traces were also found on the floor, on the entrance door shutter of the working room, on the jacket in the working room, at the area adjacent to the garage gate and in the car of “BMW” make parked in the garage next to the bathroom. Besides, a pistol cartridge charged with 2 bullets of 9mm caliber with blood-like traces was found on the chair in the parking lot located at the area of the bathroom.
A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts according to the Part 1 of the Article 112 and the Part 1 of the Article 235 of RA Criminal Code. An investigatory group was formed.
In the result of urgent investigatory and operative-intelligence measures a number of circumstances were found out. Particularly, it was found out that on the mentioned day at about 21:30 brothers, residents of Yerevan, born in 1988 and 1983, in a white car of “Sedan” model, as well as one more person, born in 1984 visited the bathroom.
Pursuant to initial data, the latter fired shots towards 26 year-old and 44 year-old men who were at the director’s room causing them firearm injuries.
Meanwhile, under unknown circumstances one of the brothers was caused injuries with a cutting-piercing item.
One of the bathroom employees presented 5 bullets of 9mm caliber and 1 ball found by him at the scene which were confiscated.
Forensic medical, forensic trace, forensic biological and forensic ballistic examinations were commissioned to find out circumstances significant for the criminal case.
Preliminary investigation is ongoing. Urgent investigatory and operative-intelligence measures are taken to find out all circumstances, the motive and the frame of those involved, as well as to identify those having committed the alleged crime. Instructions were given to the relevant subdivision of the Police.
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
