In the framework of the criminal case investigated in the Investigative Division of Ajapnyak and Davitashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of RA Investigative Committee the circumstances of murder attempt against the 27 year-old resident of Kotayq region, Mkhitaryan in Yerevan were found. Charge was pressed against the person having committed the apparent crime.
 

On May 21, 2015 a written report was received from Mkhitaryan informing that on the same day at 18:30 during the row that took place in his wife’s flat, Davtyan taking the jackknife out of his pocket, hit at his waist and jaw inflicting him bodily injury.
 

Through preliminary investigation initiated in the Investigative Division of Ajapnyak and Davitashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department it was found that on May 21, 2015 the injured citizen hosted his friends, including 32 year-old Davtyan in his wife’s flat.
 

Through investigation sufficient evidence were obtained on the allegation that at about 19:00 a row erupted during which 32 year-old man stabbed at the left part of Mkhitaryan’s chest and jaw inflicting him bodily injuries. However, he could not complete the crime because of unpredicted circumstances; the other friend had intervened in the row and taken the knife from him.
 

Mkhitaryan turned to “Armenia” medical center and was provided with appropriate medical aid.
 

32 year-old man was charged with murder attempt, the latter admitted the charge and gave testimony.
 

Forensic medical and forensic biological examinations were appointed. Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
