Murder attempt in Yerevan
A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Arabkir administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department on murder attempt against the citizen Markaryan. The suspect was arrested.
Through the materials prepared on the base of the call it was found that on 6 February, 2015 at about 22:00 a row erupted at the office belonging to the citizen O. Markaryan located on the basement floor of the house 2/1 Proshyan. During the row M. Petrosyan shot in the direction of O. Markaryan with a 9 mm caliber gun of “IZh 71” model with the intend to deprive him from life. The latter sustained a bodily injury. However, according to investigation data, due to unforeseen circumstances M. Petrosyan did not manage to complete the crime as those present at the office neutralized him.
A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Arabkir administrative district according to the Part 1 of the Article 34-104 (murder attempt) and the Part 1 of the Article 235 of RA Criminal Code (illegal procurement, transportation, keeping or carrying of weapons, explosives or explosive devices).
M. Petrosyan was arrested.
