A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Avan and Nor-Norq administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department on murder attempt committed in a way dangerous for the life of many people
 

On 6 February at 12:40 the center of operative management of Police received a call from an unknown citizen informing that murder is being committed in the apartment 102, house 17, 9^th massive of Norq. At 13:15 a call was received from medical center “Saint Gregory the Illuminator” informing that 46 year-old Anahit Khachatryan and a 4 year-old girl with a diagnosis of “polytrauma, traumatic shock” were taken to hospital.
 

A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Avan and Nor-Norq administrative districts of RA Investigative Committee according to the Points 1 and 6 of the Part 2 of the Article 34-104 and the Article 235 of RA Criminal Code.
 

In the result of the taken measures it was found that on the same day A. Khachatryan’s husband went to the mentioned apartment where A. Khachatryan was looking after the resident of the same apartment, 4 year-old child as a nurse.
 

The husband argued with his wife in the living-room and, according to the initial data, hit at A. Khachatryan’s head with a shrapnel grenade of F1 type, a short while later he threw the mentioned grenade in the direction of the arm-chair situated in the living-room where A. Khachatryan and the little child were at that moment, then he escaped.
 

In the result of the taken measures A. Khachatryan’s husband Meliq Galstyan was found. M. Galstyan was arrested on suspicion of murder attempt dangerous for the life of many people and illegally procuring and keeping weapon.
 

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
