On April 5, 2020 at about 23:30 a call was received from «Yeghegnadzor Medical Center» CJSC informing that 30 year-old resident of Gladzor village with a firearm injury was taken to them.

A criminal case was initiated in Vayotz Dzor Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Part 1 of the Article 34-104 (murder attempt) and the Part 1 of the Article 235 (illegal procurement, transportation or carrying of weapons, ammunition, explosives or explosive devices) of RA Criminal Code.

Through preliminary investigation it was found out that on April 5, 2020 at about 23:00 in Gladzor village the injured and his fellow villager argued due to tense relations they had and their supporters also were involved in it. The argument turned into quarrel during which the resident of Gladzor village, for the purpose of illegal deprivation from life, fired shots from a firearm procured illegally towards 30 year-old man. However, under unforeseen circumstances he could not complete the crime and caused 30 year-old man a firearm injury.

On April 6, 2020 a decision was made to arrest the resident of Glaldzor village on suspicion of committing the mentioned apparent crime the implementation of which was tasked to the relevant subdivision of the Police.

Necessary investigatory and other procedural actions are conducted to clarify the frame of all those involved, to personalize their actions.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
