In the result of urgent investigatory actions conducted in the framework of the criminal case investigated in the Investigative Division of Avan and Nor Norq administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee a number of circumstances of 35 year-old man’s murder were found. One person was arrested.
 

On April 11, 2017 a call was received informing that there was a man’s body in the flat of one of the houses of Mayak district of Jrvezh.
 

The investigatory-operative group immediately left for the site. The body of 35 year-old resident of Yerevan with cut-pierced injuries on frontal and back parts of the chest was found at the site.
 

On the same day a criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Avan and Nor Norq administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 of RA Criminal Code, an investigatory plan was worked out and necessary investigatory and operative-searching measures were taken to find the circumstances of the man’s death.
 

As a result, actual data were obtained on the allegation that a 42 year-old woman had rented and lived in the mentioned flat where the man was murdered. The latter was identified and her relation to the murdered man was found.
 

The woman was arrested and questioned. Forensic medical, forensic trace and forensic biological examinations were commissioned, a number of witnesses were questioned.
 

Necessary investigatory actions are conducted to verify the initial data obtained through criminal case, as well as the circumstances mentioned by the suspect.
 

Additional information on procedural decisions made on the base of the obtained evidence will be provided.
 

Taking the peculiarities of the criminal case into consideration other details, including the personal data of the victim and the suspect shall not be published out of protection of private life of participants of proceeding.
 

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
