A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Malatia-Sebastia administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of RA Investigative Committee on murder of 25 year-old man.

On August 18, 2015 at 07:30 a call was received from the resident of Yerevan S. Sarukhanyan informing that her son had been murdered.

The investigatory-operative group left for the scene immediately. Through the inspection of the scene, on the sofa of the living-room the body of the resident of the same house, Vladimir Karapetyan born in 1990 with injuries on the head was found.

On August 18, 2015 a criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Malatia-Sebastia administrative district according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 of RA Criminal Code (Murder).

During preliminary investigation it was found that the body was found by mother. The murdered man lived in the mentioned house with his brother and mother lived with the third son. On the morning of August 18, 2015 mother visited her sons and found V. Karapetyan murdered on the sofa of the living-room.

Forensic examination of the body, as well as forensic biological examination of blood traces found through the inspection of the scene was commissioned.

Working hypotheses were developed and necessary investigatory actions are conducted to check them. Police Station of Malatia was tasked to take measures to find the person having committed the crime, as well as the tool of the crime.
