In the result of investigative and other procedural actions conducted within the criminal case investigated on the Part 1 of the Article 34-104 and the Part 1 of the Article 235 of RA Criminal Code in the First Investigative Division of Kentron and Nork-Marash administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee a number of circumstances of the incident in Moskovyan Street were found out, the person having committed the alleged crime was identified.

It was earlier informed that on March 7, 2022 at about 23:40 in the yard of one of the houses on Moskovyan Street, Yerevan, with the intent to deprive 49 year-old man of life, the person having committed the alleged crime fired shots towards the man from a firearm kept by him illegally and fled. However, under unforeseen circumstances he could not complete the crime as the injured was shown necessary medical aid.

The resident of Yerevan, born in 1978, was arrested on suspicion of committing the alleged crime.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
