In the result of measures taken in the framework of the criminal case investigated in the Investigative Division of Ajapnyak and Davtashen administrative districts of the RA Investigative Committee a number of circumstances of murder of 56 year-old Samvel Arshakyan were found, the firearm which was the crime tool was found.
 

It was earlier informed that on November 20, 2016 a call was received from medical center informing that on the same day at 17:30 a 56 year-old man with a diagnosis of “firearm injury, clinical death” was taken to medical center where he died without regaining consciousness.
 

A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Ajapnyak and Davtashen administrative districts of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 and the Part 1 of the Article 235 of RA Criminal Code. In the result of investigatory actions conducted in the framework of the criminal case the motive of the crime was found, the person having committed the apparent crime was identified; he is a resident of the same districts, 27 years old. On the base of the obtained evidence in November he was charged with murder.
 

Active investigatory actions were ongoing to provide the comprehensive, objective and complete investigation of circumstances of the case. During preliminary investigation the accused – 27 year-old Baghdasaryan told the investigator where the rifle with which the 56 year-old man had been killed was and the rifle was found at the place pointed out by him.
