School headmaster pled guilty; criminal case sent to court

Preliminary investigation of the criminal case initiated on official forgery committed by Headmaster of secondary school after M. Qotanyan was completed in Aragatsotn Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee.
 

According to preliminary investigation data, Zvart Vardumyan, born in 1948, has held the post of Headmaster of secondary school after M. Qotanyan of Irind community of Aragatsotn region since 1991 and since 2013 she has been the acting headmaster of the school.
 

Through obtained evidence it was grounded that on October 1, 2009 Z. Vardumyan registered an official’s wife as a teacher and gave her 7 lesson hours. In fact, the latter did not go to work and another teacher conducted the mentioned lessons instead of her.
 

Nevertheless, the school headmaster introduced false information and records in 2009-2013 tariff list of secondary school after M. Qotanyan of Irind community and confirmed them. According to investigation data, the salaries were received by the husband of the teacher who in fact conducted the lessons.
 

On the base of sufficient evidence obtained during pretrial proceeding charge was pressed against Z. Vardumyan according to the Part 1 of the Article 314 of RA Criminal Code. The latter pled guilty and gave testimony.
 

Preliminary investigation of the criminal case was completed and the case with the bill of indictment was sent to court.
 

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
