Investigation is conducted in the Investigative Division of Shengavit administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee to find out all circumstances of showing contemptuous treatment to judge of the court of first instance of Yerevan Anna Danibekyan. Two persons were arrested.

On September 27, 2019 judge of the court of first instance of Yerevan Anna Danibekyan submitted a report then an explanation to Shengavit Police Division informing that on the same day at about 20:30 while walking to Lazo Street from Shengavit residence of the court of first instance of Yerevan two young men approached her and started to film her saying that they were live. One of them, who introduced himself as a blogger Narek Mutafyan, started asking questions about the criminal case on Robert Kocharyan and others investigated in the court of first instance of Yerevan under A. Danibekyan’s presidency and voiced offensive expressions to her.

A criminal case was initiated in Shengavit Police Division according to the Part 3 of the Article 343 of RA Criminal Code which was sent to the Investigative Division of Shengavit administrative district for preliminary investigation.

In the result of necessary measures the persons involved in the incident were identified; they are residents of Yerevan, born in 1991 and 1993. They were arrested.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing. Urgent investigatory and procedural actions of great volume are conducted, operative-intelligence measures are taken to provide the comprehensive, complete and objective investigation of the case.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
