A criminal case initiated on Lieutenant’s death
A criminal case was initiated in General Military Investigative Department of RA Investigative Committee on death of Lieutenant Mavrik Meliqyan.
On 30.06.2015 at about 13:00 at the protection area of unit N of RA Ministry of Defense the serviceman, Lieutenant Mavrik Meliqyan fired a shot at his head with a gun of “PM” type attached to him.
The Lieutenant died of bodily damages at about 13:30 on the way to military hospital of Vardenis of RA Ministry of Defense.
A criminal case was initiated in General Military Investigative Department of RA Investigative Committee pursuant to the Part 1 of the Article 110 of RA Criminal Code (causing somebody to commit suicide). Preliminary investigation is conducted.
