On March 15, 2020 at 05:35 a call was received from medical center informing that a young man with diagnosis of «cut-pierced wound on the right frontal part of the chest, right lumber region and right shoulder» was taken to them.

A criminal case was initiated according to the Part 1 of the Article 112 (willful infliction of heavy bodily damage) of RA Criminal Code.

In the result of investigatory and other procedural actions conducted in the Investigative Division of Arabkir administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee it was found out that the visitors of the hotel argued about personal matters. The security officer tried to stop the argument during which one of the visitors stabbed him.

The person having committed the alleged crime was identified; he is one of those involved in the argument. Charge was pressed against him according to the Part 1 of the Article 112 (willful infliction of heavy bodily damage) and the Part 4 of the Article 258 (hooliganism) of RA Criminal Code. Detention was chosen as a pretrial measure against him.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
