Through investigation conducted in the Investigative Division of Arabkir administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee the case of hooliganism and stabbing a passenger in the route bus N 47 in Komitas Street, Yerevan was disclosed.

In the result of investigative actions conducted, as well as operative-intelligence measures taken within the criminal proceeding initiated in relation with the case a number of circumstances of causing the mentioned passenger bodily injury were found out, the persons who had beaten him and caused injuries were identified. They are 53 and 23 year-old men whose actions were personalized.

Through investigation factual data were obtained on the allegation that during the argument 46 year-old man had been caused cut-pierced injuries by 53 year-old man.

Particularly, on January 31, 2023 at about 13:45 in the route bus N 47 two of the passengers, in order to emphasize their alleged privilege, showing obvious disrespect towards the society scolded for a long time and disturbing the peace of the passengers, willfully roughly breached the public order, committed hooliganism in the group.

With the intent to cause bodily injuries they argued with 46 year-old resident of the same bus during which they both hit the mentioned passenger with hands and feet on different parts of his body, 53 year-old man stabbed him on the abdomen causing bodily injuries dangerous for health. Due to the criminal acts the normal work of the route bus was also disrupted, some of the passengers left the bus and the mentioned two persons fled.

A few days after the incident they were found and arrested. Charge was pressed against 53 year-old man according to the Part 3 of the Article 297 and the Points 6 and 10 of the Part 2 of the Article 166 of RA Criminal Code, charge was pressed against 23 year-old man according to the Point 1 of the Part 2 of the Article 297 of RA Criminal Code.

Motions were submitted to court to use detention as a pretrial measure against them. They were sufficed.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
