Banditry Committed against Pharmacy Employee Disclosed; Suspect Arrested
In the result of urgent measures taken within the criminal case investigated in the Investigative Division of Avan and Nor Nork administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee banditry committed against pharmacy employee a few hours ago was disclosed.
On November 14, 2018 at about 00:40 the person having committed the alleged crime entered the pharmacy of CJSC operating in Avan administrative district where he demanded money threatening the pharmacy employee to use violence dangerous for health. Then swindling 156.000 AMD he fled.
On November 14, 2018 a criminal case was initiated in the RA IC Investigative Division of Avan and Nor Nork administrative districts according to the Point 4 of the Part 2 of the Article 175 of RA Criminal Code.
During preliminary investigation the pharmacy employee and CJSC were found the injured party.
In the result of operative-intelligence measures taken within the criminal case the suspect was brought to the Investigative Division of Avan and Nor Nork administrative districts of the Investigative Committee; he is a resident of Yerevan, born in 1982.
The suspect was arrested and gave confessionary testimony.
Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
