Chairman of Investigative Committee Awarded Deputy Prosecutor of Kotayk Province as well as a Number of Police Officers of Kotayk Police Division (photos)
The Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee awarded the Deputy Prosecutor of Kotayk province as well as a number of police officers of Kotayk Division of the RA Police.
Particularly, Deputy Prosecutor of Kotayk province Rafayel Gevorgyan and Deputy Head in operational management of Kotayk Regional Department Alexander Hakobyan were awarded a medal «For Cooperation» related to finding those having committed murder in a group in Hrazdan town of Kotayk province on November 26, 2019 as well as disclosure of murder.
The Head of Kotayk Division of Kotayk Regional Department of the RA Police Khoren Barkhoyan, the deputy head of the same division in operational management Andranik Meloyan were awarded for finding the persons having committed banditry in Mayakovski village of Kotayk province on December 6, 2019, in Abovyan town of Kotayk province on December 1, 2019, in a number of districts of Yerevan on December 5, 2019 and in Myasnikyan village of Armavir province on November 29, 2019 and disclosure of the mentioned crimes.
RA IC Chairman Hayk Grigoryan emphasized in his speech that in spite of some functional differences the investigators, police officers and prosecutors fight against crime jointly recording visible results.
«I express my deep gratitude for the work You have done. Due to deep cooperation of our departments in recent days we could disclose 7 cases of banditry, 11 cases of theft, 1 murder and 1 murder attempt», said Hayk Grigoryan.
The Chairman of the Investigative Committee thanked the Head of the RA IC Kotayk Regional Investigative Department Mher Vardanyan and the Head of Abovyan Investigative Division of the same department Ruben Mkrtchyan for success in fight against crime.
