Chairman of “National Agreement” Party Aram Harutyunyan Involved as Suspect within Criminal Case Initiated on Public Calls on Justifying Violence
A video entitled “Nikol, you changed our textbooks and holidays” was published in “Youtube” in which calls on justifying apparent violence were made by the Chairman of “National Agreement” party Aram Harutyunyan.
A criminal case was initiated in the Division of Investigation of Grave Crimes of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Part 1 of the Article 226.2 ((public calls for violence, publicly justifying or preaching violence) of RA Criminal Code.
Aram Harutyunyan was involved as a suspect and signature not to leave was chosen as a pretrial measure against him.
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
