The Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee Hayk Grigoryan received today the delegation headed by International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs Program Officer, Team Leader of Europe, Eurasia, Central Asia of the INL Bureau from Washington Ms. Judith Campbell.

Greeting the guests IC Chairman thanked them for visiting the Investigative Committee, as well as for the support shown to the RA Investigative Committee within programs implemented by INL Bureau.

IC Chairman Hayk Grigoryan particularly emphasized that the support shown by the U.S. State Department contributes to enhancement of efficiency of the work of the Investigative Committee, to performing organizational-legal procedures on a higher quality level, as well as to improvement of employees’ skills.

The Chairman of the Investigative Committee Hayk Grigoryan presented the guests the programs implemented with the help of the U.S. Embassy in recent years. He also referred to a number of programs drawn by him to enhance the efficiency of preliminary investigation.

“Considering the established cooperation and attaching great importance to the support programs implemented by the U.S. State Department directed to strengthening the law enforcement bodies and improvement of skills of officials, the establishment of a more just and transparent criminal justice system, I hope we will continue with the cooperation”, emphasized IC Chairman.

Ms. Judith Campbell emphasized their willingness to support the programs implemented by the Investigative Committee.

At the request of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs Program Officer, Team Leader of Europe, Eurasia, Central Asia of the INL Bureau from Washington Ms. Judith Campbell IC Chairman presented statistics on criminal cases initiated on corruption-related crimes and domestic violence.
