Charge pressed against a 31 year-old man for committing lecherous acts against his niece under 16

In the framework of the criminal case investigated in the Investigative Division of Malatia-Sebastia administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department charge was pressed against a 31 year-old man for committing lecherous acts against his niece under 16.
 

On July 10, 2015 a written report was received from a resident of Yerevan informing that her brother had committed lecherous acts against her daughter.
 

Based on the prepared materials a criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Malatia-Sebastia administrative districts according to the Point 2 of the Part 3 of the Article 142 of RA Criminal Code (committing lecherous acts against a person under 12).
 

During preliminary investigation the minor girl was found an injured party and was interrogated. According to the initial data on July 9, 2015 at about 17:00 the uncle called the child to his bedroom to help him to use the computer reasoning that he could not read and write in Armenian. The man asked the girl to search and find photos of naked girls on the internet then he committed lecherous acts against his niece.  
 

On July 15 the man was arrested and gave testimony on the circumstances of the case as a suspect. On the base of the obtained evidence on July 17 he was charged according to the Point 2 of the Part 3 of the Article 142 of RA Criminal Code. The investigator submitted a motion to the court to use detention as a pretrial measure against him. The motion was sufficed.
 

The man pled guilty and confessed.
