Preliminary investigation of the criminal case initiated on taking illegal payment by a public servant was completed in Armavir Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee. Charge was pressed against chief specialist of Baghramyan Territorial Agency of Social Assistance.

Pursuant to data obtained through investigation chief specialist of Baghramyan Territorial Agency of Social Assistance being authorized to provide the population with social services as prescribed by law, to proceed the applications submitted by citizens for benefit as defined by RA legislation, from 2010 to 2017 received illegal payment from two residents of Dalarik village for implementation of process of benefit provision without any abstacles ignoring problems risen during the annual review.

On the base of the obtained sufficient evidence charge was pressed against the employee of Baghramyan Territorial Agency of Social Assistance according to the Part 1 of the Article 311.1 and the Point 2 of the Part 3 of the Article 311.1 of RA Criminal Code. Signature not to leave was chosen as a pretrial measure against him.

During preliminary investigation a part of the money received as an illegal payment was transferred to the deposit account of the RA Investigative Committee by the chief specialist of Baghramyan Territorial Agency of Social Assistance.

Preliminary investigation was completed and the criminal case with the bill of indictment was sent to court.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
