In the result of large-scale investigative and other procedural actions conducted in Vayots Dzor Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee circumstances of murder attempt committed against 37 year-old resident of Yeghegnadzor were found out.

Pursuant to factual data obtained through investigation, on 3 April, 2021 at about 16:00 34 year-old man and his friend driving in Yeghegnadzor town noticed 37 year-old resident of Yeghegnadzor town with whom they had been in tense relations for a long time. They got out of the car and an argument broke out between them. During the argument 34 year-old man held the resident of Yeghegnadzor and his friend took the hunting gun of «TG 1» type registered in his name out of the car trunk. Feeling real danger for his life and health the resident of Yeghegnadzor fled. At that moment 34 year-old man, taking the above-mentioned weapon from his friend chased the resident of Yeghegnadzor and for the purpose of illegal deprivation of life fired three shots towards him at 23-30 meters’ distance. However under unforeseen circumstances he could not complete the crime.

On the base of the obtained sufficient evidence charge was pressed against 34 year-old man according to the Part 1 of the Article 34-104 of RA Criminal Code and detention was used as a pretrial measure against him. Charge was pressed against his friend according to the Part 1 of the Article 38-34-104 of RA Criminal Code and signature not to leave was chosen as a pretrial measure against him.

Preliminary investigation was completed and the criminal case with the bill of indictment was sent to prosecutor supervising the legality of preliminary investigation.
