In the result of comprehensive investigation conducted in Vayots Dzor Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee circumstances of murder attempt committed by 32 year-old resident of Gladzor community were found out.

Pursuant to factual data obtained through investigation 32 year-old resident of Gladzor having disagreement with the 31 year-old fellow-villager and the latter’s brother and being in tense relations with them for a long time related to operating their own car wash center at the area adjoining to the central road of Gladzor, on April 5, 2020 at about 23:00 at the mentioned area argued with the fellow villager and his supporters about personal matters. During the argument, for the purpose of illegal deprivation of 31 year-old man’s life, in a way dangerous for many people’s life, 32 year-old man fired three shots towards the latter from a firearm of “Makarov” model procured and kept by him illegally. However, under unforeseen circumstances he could not complete the crime as 31 year-old man noticing the firearm directed by the fellow-villager towards him avoided the balls. One of them touched him on the head causing light damage to health after which he was immediately taken to hospital by his supporters. One of the other two balls fired towards him touched his sister’s husband, the other – one of the supporters of 32 year-old man causing light damage to their health.

On the base of the obtained sufficient evidence charge was pressed against 32 year-old resident of Gladzor community according to the Part 1 of the Article 235 and the Point 6 of the Part 2 of the Article 34-104 of RA Criminal Code.

Preliminary investigation was completed and the criminal case with the motion to confirm the bill of indictment and send it to court was sent to prosecutor.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
