In the framework of the criminal case investigated in the Investigative Division of Ajapnyak and Davtashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee charge was pressed for procurement, keeping of drugs, psychotropic materials in large amount with the purpose of sale.  
 

In the result of investigatory and operative-intelligence measures taken during preliminary investigation sufficient evidence were obtained on the allegation that the resident of Yerevan, 40 year-old S. Simonyan procured psychotropic materials of “Lorazepam” type in large amount with the purpose of sale.
 

The psychotropic materials – 96 pills were kept in the car trunk of “Opel Astra” used by S. Simonyan, according to preliminary investigation data the 40 year-old man wanted to find a buyer and sell them.
 

Through the search of the car conducted in the order defined by law 96 pills containing psychotropic materials of “Lorazepam” type in large amount was found in the interior trunk and confiscated.
 

On the base of the obtained evidence charge was pressed against S. Simonyan according to the Point 2 of the Part 2 of the Article 266 of RA Criminal Code.
 

The investigator submitted a motion to use detention as a pretrial measure against him. The motion was sufficed.
 

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
