Criminal case initiated in the RA National Security Service on abusing official authorities was received in the proceeding of the RA Investigative Committee.

During preliminary investigation it was found out that from April, 2009 officials of Department of Urban Development and Land Control of Staff of Yerevan City Hall, RA Urban Development State Inspection of the Ministry of Urban Development, RA State Fire and Technical Safety Inspection of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, as well as “National Center for Technical Safety” SNCO out of mercenary motives, abusing their official position did not properly control the deviations during construction of buildings at Amiryan 4/5, 4/14, 4/24 of Yerevan.   

Deviations during construction were not recorded by the above-mentioned structures and on February 26, 2012 the documents on factual account of construction exploitation were ratified confirming that the construction of unfinished buildings constructed at the mentioned addresses was allegedly completed and corresponded to project documents, construction permissions given by Yerevan City Hall and the mentioned buildings were ready for exploitation which caused significant damage to a citizen having the right to get a real estate in the mentioned buildings as well as to legal interests and rights of other people.

A criminal case was initiated according to the Part 1 of the Article 308 of RA Criminal Code.

Preliminary investigation is conducted. Necessary investigatory and other procedural actions are conducted to provide the comprehensive, complete and objective investigation of the case, to find out the frame of those having abused official authorities, to personalize their actions and to give appropriate criminal legal assessment.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
