Criminal Case Initiated on Murder of Serviceman of Compulsory Military Service Committed by Enemy
On 14 July, 2021 at about 10:30 serviceman of compulsory military service Samvel Gagik Alaverdyan received a firearm injury on the left shoulder as a result of the shot fired by the enemy towards the combat base of protection area of the unit N of the RA Ministry of Defense.
S. Alaverdyan died on the way to hospital.
A criminal case was initiated in the Eighth garrison investigative unit of General Military Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Points 2, 6 and 13 of the Part 2 of the Article 104 of RA Criminal Code.
Preliminary investigation is underway.
