Resident of Tavush Region Arrested on Suspicion of Infliction of Bodily Damage to Two Residents of Same Region
Investigative and procedural actions are conducted within the framework of the criminal case investigated in Tavush Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee to find out circumstances of infliction of bodily damage to two residents of Ijevan community in one of the night clubs operating in Yerevan Street of the same community.
The report on the mentioned accident was received on August 21, 2022 at 06:40 from “Ijevan” medical center informing that two residents of Ijevan community, born in 1987 and 1991 with cut-pierced wounds had been taken to the medical center.
A criminal proceeding was initiated according to the Point 1 of the Part 1 of the Article 166 and the Point 1 of the Part 1 of the Article 171 of RA Criminal Code. On the same day a decision was made to form an investigative group.
Within the framework of the mentioned proceeding two men were found the injured party and questioned. Inspection of the scene was conducted, a number of people were questioned, the clothes the injured were wearing at the moment of the accident were confiscated.
Forensic medical, forensic biological and forensic trace examinations were commissioned.
In the result of taken measures the person having committed the alleged crime was identified; he is a resident of the same community, born in 1989.
The latter was arrested on the base of reasonable suspicion on crime committal.
Preliminary investigation is ongoing. Measures are taken to find out all circumstances of the case, to provide the objective and comprehensive investigation of the case.
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
