Criminal cases initiated on murder of contractor, murder attempt against serviceman
Criminal cases were initiated in the Third Garrison Investigative Unit on murder of a contractor of Armenian Armed Forces, murder attempt against a serviceman committed by the enemy.
On February 8, 2017 at about 11:00 in the result of the shot fired by the enemy towards the combat base of protection area of the unit N contractor Gegham Manukyan sustained a fatal firearm injury at the area of the head.
An hour later at about 12:00 in the result of the shot fired by the enemy towards another combat base of protection area of the unit N serviceman Koryun Kirakosyan sustained firearm injury at the area of the head.
The latter was taken to Stepanakert’s military hospital, he is assessed to be in critical condition.
Criminal cases were initiated in the Third Garrison Investigative Unit on murder and murder attempt out of motives of national, race and religious hate or fanatism.
Preliminary investigation is conducted.
