Delegations headed by Chairmen of Investigative Committees of Russia and Belarus visited Memorial of Tsitsernakaberd (Photos)

The members of delegations headed by the Chairmen of Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus accompanied by the Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee Aghvan Hovsepyan visited the memorial of Tsitsernakaberd and put flowers on the monument to victims of Armenian Genocide in 1915, respected the memory of 1.5 million innocent victims with a bow and silence.

The guests visited the museum-institute of Armenian Genocide, got acquainted with the documents certifying Armenian Genocide where the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Alexander Bastrykin and the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus Ivan Noskevich made notes in the guests' commemorative.   

The Chairmen of the Investigative Committees of Russia and Belarus planted a fir-tree in the Memorial Park.

The delegations arrived in Armenia to take part in the second joint session of the Investigative Committees of the three countries. Issues on peculiarities of carrying out queries during pretrial proceeding, the investigation of cybercrimes were involved in the agenda and discussed, they also got acquainted with the RA Investigative Committee's experience of introducing electronic technologies in the process of preliminary investigation.

In the framework of the session bilateral memoranda of understanding were signed between the Investigative Committees of the Republic of Armenia and the Russian Federation and the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Belarus.

The RA President Serzh Sargsyan received today the Chairmen of the Investigative Committees of the three countries and highlighted the close cooperation between the law enforcement bodies emphasizing that Armenia encourages close professional communication and experience exchange between the state structures of partner countries in several spheres considering that new technologies and opportunities emerge in the rapidly changing world which contribute to finding more efficient solutions and work improvement. President Serzh Sargsyan regarded the format of the joint session as a good platform for cooperation and wished success to board work.
