In the framework of the criminal case investigated in General Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of the RA Investigative Committee on armed incident that took place on late evening of September 16 on Yerevan-Ejmiatsin road, on September 18 one person was arrested.
 

Investigatory actions of great volume are conducted to provide the comprehensive and objective investigation of circumstances of the case, all possible hypotheses are verified
 

In order to find a number of circumstances significant for the criminal case searches were conducted in cars of three persons involved in the incident – “Vaz 21-06”, “Lexux” and “Toyota Camry” in the order defined by law; firearm injuries were not found. Forensic auto-technical examination was commissioned. Searches were conducted in the apartments of those involved in the incident. As a result, ammunition was found in the apartment of the citizen K. Armenakyan and on September 18 he was arrested on suspicion of committing a crime envisaged by the Part 1 of the Article 235 of RA Criminal Code.  
 

Forensic medical examinations were commissioned against 6 persons, besides necessary samples were taken from them to check if there were shot products.
 

Preliminary investigation is ongoing, the frame of those involved in the incident, the actions of each of them are clarified. Additional information on procedural decisions made on the base of the obtained evidence will be provided.
