Investigator received criminal case on making a false statement about terrorism in proceeding
The investigator of the Investigative Division of Kentron and Norq-Marash administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee received the criminal case on making a false statement about terrorism in his proceeding.
On September 1, 2017 a call was received in the Police informing that a citizen had told on the phone that there was an explosive device in the building of the RA Ministry of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies.
In the result of measures taken by the relevant services it was found that the call did not correspond to reality and there was no explosive device at the administrative building of the ministry.
A criminal case was initiated according to the Article 259 of RA Criminal Code which was received in the proceeding of the investigator of the Investigative Division of Kentron and Norq-Marash administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee.
Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
