Necessary investigatory actions are conducted in the Investigative Division of Shengavit administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee to find out circumstances of inflicting heavy bodily damage to a juvenile. Another juvenile was arrested.

On August 13, 2019 calls were received from “Saint Mary” and “Shengavit” medical centers informing that on the same day a teenager, born in 2004, with cut-pierced injury on the left part of the chest was taken to them. Pursuant to certificate received from “Saint Mary” medical center cut-pierced penetrating wound on the frontal surface of the left part of the chest was diagnosed.  

A criminal case was initiated in the RA IC Investigative Division of Shengavit administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department according to the Part 1 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code.

In the result of necessary investigatory actions and operative-intelligence measures the person having committed the alleged crime was identified; he is a resident of Yerevan, born in 2004. On the same day the latter was arrested on suspicion of committing crime envisaged by the Part 1 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code.

Forensic medical examination was commissioned, inspection of the scene was conducted, a number of witnesses were questioned, confiscations were conducted, instructions were given to relevant subdivisions of the Police.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
