On February 22, 2020 at 16:50 a call was received in Hrazdan Police Division from «Hrazdan» medical center informing that minor resident of Kotayk province stabbed, with a diagnosis of «two cut-pierced wounds on the left part of the back» was taken to medical center.

On the same day a criminal case was initiated in the RA IC Kotayk Regional Investigative Department according to the Part 1 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code.

In the result of urgent investigatory actions as well as operative-intelligence measures it was found out that the juvenile had sustained the mentioned bodily injuries during the argument about personal matters among a number of young men that took place in the village of Meghradzor of Kotayk province on February 22, 2020. The person having committed the alleged crime was also identified; he is a resident of Kotayk province, again juvenile.

The latter was arrested on suspicion of stabbing the fellow villager.

Necessary investigatory and other procedural actions are conducted to find out all circumstances of the case.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
