In the framework of the criminal case investigated in the Investigative Division of Shengavit administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee stabbing of 20 year-old young man was disclosed.

On June 19, 2019 at 14:25 a call was received from «Erebuni» medical center informing that a young man, born in 1998, with cut-pierced wounds on the right groin region was taken to medical center.

A criminal case was initiated in the RA IC Investigative Division of Shengavit administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department according to the Part 1 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code. An investigatory group was formed. 20 year-old man was found the injured party.

Pursuant to the reference given by «Erebuni» medical center the latter was not able to give testimony.

During preliminary investigation urgent investigatory actions were conducted – inspection of the scene was conducted, the clothes the injured was wearing at the moment of the incident were confiscated, a number of witnesses were questioned.

Forensic medical examination was commissioned to find out circumstances significant for the criminal case.

In the result of investigatory and procedural actions as well as operative-intelligence measures the person having committed the alleged crime was identified; he is a resident of Yerevan, born in 2005. The latter was found and gave testimony. Handing him to parents' supervision was chosen as a pretrial measure against him.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing. Measures are taken to provide the comprehensive, complete and objective investigation of circumstances of the case.
