Investigation is conducted in the Investigative Division of Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee to find out all circumstances of stabbing 15 and 16 year-old juveniles. Charge was pressed against one person.

On July 25, 2019 at 22:00 calls were received from “Erebuni Medical Center” CJSC in Erebuni Police Division informing that a teenager, born in 2004, with cut-pierced wounds on the chest and abdomen, as well as another teenager, born in 2003, with cut-pierced wounds on lumber region and thigh were taken to medical center.

A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Part 1 of the Article 112 and the Part 1 of the Article 113 of RA Criminal Code preliminary investigation of which was tasked to the investigatory group.

Pursuant to initial data, on July 25, 2019 at about 21:00 a quarrel took place at the crossroad of Erebuni and Azatamartikner Streets of Yerevan during which the teenagers sustained the mentioned injuries.

A number of investigatory actions were conducted, the criminal register-book of the medical center was examined, the clothes the injured were wearing at the moment of the incident were confiscated, inspection of the scene was conducted during which blood-like traces were found, samples were taken, the injured and a number of witnesses were questioned, confrontations were conducted, forensic medical examinations were commissioned.

In the result of urgent investigatory actions and operative-intelligence measures a number of circumstances were found out, the person having committed the alleged crime was identified; he is a resident of Yerevan, born in 2000. The latter was found and arrested on suspicion of willful infliction of heavy damage and willful infliction of damage of medium gravity.

On the base of the obtained sufficient evidence charge was pressed against 18 year-old young man according to the Part 1 of the Article 112 and the Part 1 of the Article 113 of RA Criminal Code.

The investigator submitted a motion to court to choose detention as a pretrial measure against him.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing. Urgent investigatory actions are conducted to find out all circumstances of the case, the frame of those possibly involved in the incident, to identify them, to personalize the actions of each of them.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
