In the result of large-scale investigative and other procedural actions conducted in Armavir Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee a number of circumstances of murder attempt committed against 37 year-old resident of Armavir region were found out.

Pursuant to data obtained through investigation, on 19 July, 2021 at about 00:05 the resident of the same region drove on Armavir-Yerevan road to Yerevan in his car of “Toyota Camry” make. Related to not giving a way to the car of “Toyota Camry” make driven by 37 year-old man on the same road and in the same direction, the latter gave an audible և light signal to 24 year-old man who also gave a long audible signal. Then 37 year-old man drove his car close to 24 year-old man’s car, stopped him next to the entertainment center located on the right side of the mentioned road and parked his car next to him. They argued and scolded each other after which for emphasizing his own self, for the purpose of murder, 24 year-old man fired a shot from the open window with a firearm kept by him illegally towards 37 year-old man causing bodily injuries. However, under unforeseen circumstances he could not complete the crime.

On the base of the obtained sufficient evidence 24 year-old man was involved as a defendant according to the Point 10 of the Part 2 of the Article 34-104 and the Part 1 of the Article 235 of RA Criminal Code. Search was declared against him and detention was chosen as a pretrial measure against him.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
