The Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee Aghvan Hovsepyan today took part in the opening ceremony of the new administrative building of Artik Investigative Division of Shirak Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee.

Artik Investigative Division did not have a separate administrative building and in order to improve working conditions in 2017 area with surface of 245 square meters located at 4 Baghramyan, Artik was given to the RA IC Administration for free use by the RA Government. 9.062.350 AMD was provided from the RA state budget.

The investigative division was furnished, provided with modern equipment, internet connection and internal computer network. It has 9 work rooms; rooms planned for special investigatory actions – interrogation of minors, recognition rooms with appropriate equipment. 

By the order of the Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee the Head of the RA IC Artik Investigative Division of Shirak Regional Investigative Department Karen Ptukyan was awarded a medal “For Labour”, two investigators – with monetary encouragement in the amount of one month’s salary for conscientious performance of their duties.

Let us mention that new administrative buildings of two investigative divisions of Gegharkunik Regional Investigative Department - Vardenis and Martuni Investigative Divisions completely renovated and furnished have been recently put into operation.

Since its formation - October 2014 the Investigative Committee has been taking consistent steps to improve the working conditions of territorial subdivisions, to complete the logistic base due to which the conduction of investigatory actions is organized in a more efficient way, the protection of the rights of participants of proceeding is provided.  

Since October, 2014 the administrative buildings of Central Office of the Investigative Committee, Syuniq, Kotayq, Aragatsotn, Vayots Dzor Regional Investigative Departments, Masis Investigative Division of Ararat Regional Investigative Department, Vardenis and Martuni Investigative Divisions of Gegharkunik Regional Investigative Department, Yerevan Investigative Department, Investigative Divisions of Arabkir and Shengavit administrative districts have been renovated.

Five more administrative buildings are currently being renovated.
