All necessary investigatory actions are conducted in the proceeding of General Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of the RA Investigative Committee to find the cause of Artur Sargsyan’s death, conditions contributing to deterioration of his health.
 

In order to get more objective and complete result of forensic medical examination commissioned in the framework of the criminal case all medical documents on his health condition were confiscated from “Armenia” medical center, “Nubarashen” and “Convicts’ Hospital” penitentiaries.
 

Out of necessity of preliminary investigation the Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee Aghvan Hovsepyan today sent writs to the RA Ministers of Defense and Health asking them to provide information about A. Sargsyan’s participation in defense battles of the RA borders, being wounded and getting medical aid, as well as on turning to other civic facilities operating in Armenia and receiving medical aid, and if there are such, to provide the copies of the mentioned documents to the investigative body.  
 

Additional information on investigatory actions conducted in the proceeding of General Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of the RA Investigative Committee and their results will be periodically provided.
 

It was earlier informed that a criminal case was initiated in General Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Part 2 of the Article 130 of RA Criminal Code. Forensic medical examination was commissioned. Information on the process of preliminary investigation and its results will be provided.
