In the result of urgent investigatory actions conducted in the framework of the criminal case investigated in Nairi Investigative Division of Kotayq Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee it was found that the man, born in 1985, had sustained bodily injuries during an argument but not during assault.

It was earlier informed that on August 21, 2017 at 21:40 s report was received from the medical center informing that the resident of Kotayq region, born in 1985, with diagnosis of «cut-pierced wound on the right part of the chest and right lumber region, the back vascular line»   was taken to medical center. He had told that on the same day in the street somebody had tried to steal his necklace, he resisted and was stabbed.

In the result of urgent investigatory actions of great volume conducted in the framework of the criminal case initiated in Nairi Investigative Division of Kotayq Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee the real circumstances of sustaining bodily injury by the man were found, actual data were obtained that in fact no assault took place and he sustained the heavy bodily injury during the argument. The person having committed the alleged crime was also identified.

Particularly, it was found that during private talks the injured expressed an opinion that his lost phone had in fact been stolen by the fellow citizen, born in 1989, the latter learnt about it and required clarifications. On August 21, 2017 at about 21:00 the parties met, the conversation turned into an argument during which the man, born in 1985, was stabbed.

The suspect was arrested.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
