Resident of Yerevan Arrested on Suspicion of Infliction of Willful Heavy Bodily Damage to Health
On March 29, 2020 a call was received from “Saint Gregory the Illuminator” medical center informing that a female resident of Yerevan with “cut-pierced injury on the right part of the chest” was taken to medical center.
A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Arabkir administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Part 1 of the Article 112 (infliction of willful heavy damage to health) of RA Criminal Code.
Through investigation it was found out that the person having committed the alleged crime is a resident of Yerevan. During the argument on personal matters near a shop located in Papazyan Street the latter stabbed his acquaintance with a cutting-piercing item on the chest causing heavy bodily damage to her then fled.
The person having committed the alleged crime was arrested on suspicion of infliction of willful heavy bodily damage to health.
Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
