Shot at his fellow-villager at the village municipality; a criminal case initiated
A criminal case was initiated in Abovyan Investigative Division of Kotayq Regional Investigative Department of RA Investigative Committee on infliction of heavy damage to health of 27 year-old residence of the village of Hatsavan, M. Gasparyan pursuant to the Part 1 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code.
On 19 December, 2014 at 23:25 the Police station of Kotayq received an alarm from medical centre “Saint Gregory the Illuminator” informing that on the same day the resident of the village of Hatsavan of Kotayq region M. Gasparyan with firearm injury on the right hip joint, as well as with a wound on the apical part of the head was taken to the medical centre.
Through the investigation it was found that M. Gasparyan had an argument with a 34 year-old resident of the same village in front of the village municipality. During the row the latter shot with a gun at M. Gasparyan’s right hip. The person having committed the apparent crime was arrested, the gun was confiscated.
Forensic examinations were appointed, measures were taken to provide the comprehensive, complete and objective investigation.
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
