Investigation is conducted in Abovyan Investigative Division of Kotayk Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee to find out circumstances of 34 year-old man’s stabbing.

On May 14, 2019 at 18:45 a call was received in Police Division of Kotayk from “Abovyan Medical Center after R. Harutyunyan” informing that a resident of Abovyan town, born in 1984, with “cut-pierced penetrating wounds on the left part of the chest and the abdomen” turned to them for medical aid and told that he had been stabbed.

On May 14, 2019 a criminal case was initiated in RA IC Abovyan Investigative Division of Kotayk Regional Investigative Department according to the Part 1 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code. 34 year-old man was found the injured party.

In the result of investigatory actions and operative-intelligence measures a number of circumstances, the scene were found out, the person having committed the alleged crime was identified; he is a resident of Kotayk province, born in 1986. The latter was arrested.

Forensic medical and forensic trace examinations were commissioned to find out circumstances significant for the criminal case.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
