Stabbing of three young men in Lori revealed
A criminal case was initiated in Lori Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee on stabbing three persons in the village of Lejan. In the result of investigatory actions the person having committed the apparent crime was identified.
In the result of measures taken in the framework of the criminal case it was found that during the argument over domestic affairs that took place in Lejan village three residents of the same village were stabbed with a piercing object and were taken to medical center with several injuries. A. Machkalyan, born in 1990, was diagnosed “cut wound of the frontal part of the abdomen”, S. Katinyan – “cut-pierced penetrating wound on the frontal part of the abdomen with acute internal bleeding”, bodily injury was inflicted to a minor resident of the village, as well, who was diagnosed “cut-pierced penetrating wound of the right half of the chest with acute internal bleeding”.
On October 16, 2016 a criminal case was initiated in Stepanavan Investigative Division of Lori Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Point 1 of the Part 2 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code (willful infliction of bodily damage or other heavy damage to health which is dangerous for life) and the Article 117 of RA Criminal Code (willful infliction of light damage to health). By the decision of Head of Lori Regional Investigative Department an investigatory group was formed.
During preliminary investigation inspection of the site was conducted, decisions were made to find the mentioned three persons as injured party, their clothes were confiscated, forensic medical examinations were commissioned.
In the result of measures taken in the framework of the criminal case the person having committed the apparent crime was identified. The relevant subdivisions of the police were tasked to find and bring him to the investigative body. Preliminary investigation is ongoing. Necessary investigatory and procedural actions are conducted to find the objective reality.
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
