In the result of urgent investigatory and procedural actions conducted in the framework of the criminal case investigated in the Investigative Division of Kentron and Norq-Marash administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee circumstances of stabbing the 21 year-old man committed on April 8 were found, the person having committed the apparent crime was identified.
 

On April 8, 2016 at 14:10 a call was received from university hospital N 1 after M. Heratsi informing that Azat Abrahamyan, born in 1995, with diagnosis of “cut- lacerated penetrating wound on the left part of the chest” was taken to hospital. Some hours later the young man died without gaining consciousness.
 

Through investigation it was found that the injury dangerous for life had been inflicted to A. Abrahamyan on April 8, 2016 during the argument that took place at the area near Yerevan State University, data on participants of the argument were obtained.
 

On the morning of April 9 24 year-old resident of Gegharquniq region G. Sargsyan surrendered himself and gave testimony on what had happened. The latter was arrested.
 

Inspection of the site was conducted, numerous witnesses were interrogated, forensic medical, forensic biological and forensic trace examinations were commissioned to find circumstances significant for the criminal case.
 

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
