Stabbing under Influence of Alcohol; Preliminary Investigation Completed; Charge Pressed against Female Resident of Vanadzor
Preliminary investigation of the criminal case initiated on stabbing 55 year-old resident of Vanadzor was completed in Lori Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee. Charge was pressed against 41 year-old female resident of Vanadzor.
In the result of investigatory and other procedural actions conducted during pretrial proceeding a number of circumstances of the case were found out.
Particularly, during the argument erupted on burning her child’s photo the female resident of Vanadzor, born in 1978, being under the influence of alcohol, with the intend of inflicting bodily injuries stabbed her friend on several parts of his body with knives which were on the table causing bodily damage threatening to life.
On the base of the obtained sufficient evidence charge was pressed against the female resident of Vanadzor, born in 1978, according to the Part 1 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code. Signature not to leave was chosen as a pretrial measure against her.
Preliminary investigation was completed and the criminal case with the bill of indictment was sent to court.
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
