Stationary forensic psychiatric and forensic psychological complex examination commissioned against woman accused of murder of Armavir region Governor’s advisor

Necessary investigatory and other procedural actions are conducted in General Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of the RA Investigative Committee to find all circumstances of murder of Armavir region Governor's advisor Manuk Simonyan to provide the comprehensive, complete and objective investigation. Forensic psychiatric and forensic psychological complex examination was commissioned against the defendant.

On July 25, 2017 at about 23:30 the body of Manuk Simonyan, born in 1965, was found wrapped and tied with a sheet, polyethylene bags and dark ropes at the area called «Dalarik's canyon». Through inspection cut and swollen wounds were found on the body and it had pants and a shirt on.

In the result of investigatory and other procedural actions of great volume conducted in the framework of the criminal case the way, motive of murder were found, actual data were obtained on the allegation that M. Simonyan had been inflicted the bodily injuries incompatible with life by his wife. Charge was pressed against the latter according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 of RA Criminal Code.

Stationary forensic psychiatric and forensic psychological complex examination was commissioned against the accused woman to find circumstances significant for the criminal case, as well as her mental condition at the moment of committing the crime and after it. The investigator submitted a motion to court to put her in “Nubarashen” psychiatric medical center of the RA Ministry of Health to carry out the examination. The motion was sufficed.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
