Two brothers stabbed in Lori; one of them had been under persecution
A criminal case was initiated in Tumanyan Investigative Division of Lori Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee on stabbing two persons.
On October 3, 2017 at 02:40 a call was received from “Alaverdi Medical Center” CJSC informing that two men with cut-pierced wounds were taken to medical center. It was found that the stabbed persons were brothers, born in 1982 and 1989.
A criminal case was initiated in Tumanyan Investigative Division of Lori Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Part 1 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code. The brothers were found an injured party.
In the result of urgent investigatory actions the site where the brothers had sustained heavy bodily injury was found, data were obtained on the person having committed the alleged crime and the police were tasked to take measures to find and bring him to the investigative body.
Through investigation it was found that one of the stabbed brothers had been under persecution since September 10 charged with committing a committal envisaged by the Points 1 and 4 of the Part 2 of the Article 131 of RA Criminal Code.
It was earlier informed that on September 7, 2017 a call was received informing that on the same day at about 19:30 a minor resident of Lori region, born in 1999, was kidnapped. In the result of taken measures it was found that the girl had been kidnapped by 4 residents of Lori region; she was first taken to Gyumri then to Yerevan and then to Ejmiatsin.
A criminal case had been initiated according to the Points 1 and 4 of the Part 2 of the Article 131 and the Point 3 of the Part 2 of the Article 34-138 of RA Criminal Code.
On the base of the obtained evidence charge had been pressed against two residents of Lori region according to the Points 1 and 4 of the Part 2 of the Article 131 of RA Criminal Code, against one of them - according to the Points 1 and 4 of the Part 2 of the Article 131 and the Point 3 of the Part 2 of the Article 34-138 of RA Criminal Code. Search had been declared against the fourth person. Today charge was pressed against the latter for kidnapping the minor.
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
