Investigative and other procedural actions are conducted in General Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of the RA Investigative Committee to find out circumstances of selling drugs to Artur Andranik Sedrakyan - the participant of the rally organized by the political opposition in France square of Yerevan.

Through the search conducted in 39 apartments and 4 cars within the measures taken together with the RA National Security Service and General Department and relevant territorial subdivisions of Criminal Investigation of the RA Police within the framework of the criminal case which was initiated on May 12 in the RA Police according to the Part 1 of the Article 266 of RA Criminal Code and preliminary investigation of which is conducted in General Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of the RA Investigative Committee, to disclose and find those having sold narcotic drugs to A. Sedrakyan and participants of the rally in France square  a firearm, complementary details, bullets, “Marijuana”, “Hashish”, hemp seeds and shrubs were found, 475 grams of “Methamphetamine”, 950 grams of “Marijuana”, 1055 grams of “Opium”, 72.8 grams of “Heroin” were found in the spare tire installation section of the car owned by citizen A.V..

A.V. was arrested.

It should be noted that during preparation of materials on death of Artur Andranik Sedrakyan on May 5, 2022 at 12:55 during the rally organized by the political opposition in France square it was found out that the latter’s death had been caused by acute heart failure in the result of acute intoxication from a mixture of natural and synthetic cannabinoids /DELTA-9-THC, JWH-018, JWH-203, RCS-8, Cannabipiperidethanone/ and various compounds belonging to benzodiazepines /2H-1, 4-Benzodiazepin-2-one, 7-Chloro-2-menthylthio-5-phenyl-3H-1,3-4-benzotriazepine/.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
