Working meeting of the Chairmen of Investigative Committees of the Republic of Armenia and the Russian Federation was held in Moscow.
During the meeting the Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee thanked for warm reception and emphasized the significance of close cooperation of two departments.
“This is one of several meetings we have had this year which confirms the high level of motivation between the Investigative Committees of the Republic of Armenia and the Russian Federation and significance of strengthening cooperation.
It should be mentioned that during the fourth joint board session of the investigative committees of the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation held in Krasnoyarsk the working meeting of representatives of subdivisions of international cooperation and investigation not only proved the high professionalism and motivation of the joint work of the employees of our departments but also it was a start for a new stage of interaction.
Due to contacts established between our specialists work to improve mechanisms of fight against crime and development of new mechanisms continued. As we can see now, due to these contacts the coordination procedure has considerably been simplified and quality of conduction of procedural actions within international instructions has been enhanced, as well as efficient implementation of agreements signed within the events held in Krasnoyarsk and Saint Petersburg, including oral agreements reached in Yerevan have started”, emphasized the Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee Hayk Grigoryan in his speech.
The Chairman of the Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin also attached importance to close cooperation of two departments and expressed willingness to deepen the cooperation with the RA Investigative Committee.
After the meeting the Chairmen of Armenia and Russia signed joint declaration on taking joint measures to fight against crime.
